Come join the "One Intuit Content Management System" team (OICMS) as a "Software Engineer". OICMS is the content management system powering content across 24 Intuit business and client applications. It has revolutionized the way Intuit manages content across Care, Marketing and Product. The team is a highly engaged, fast paced and talented team of engineers solving complex problems at-scale

Qualifications

2+ years experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.

BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.

Strong experience with the following - JavaScript, ReactJS, Java, PHP, Python,

Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

1+ years experience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST or SOAP.

Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to

both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process.

Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD).

"Self-starter"" attitude and ability to make decisions independently.

Helpful, can-do attitude and a willingness to take ownership of problems.

Strong desire to learn and grow.

Excellent problem solving skills with a history of superb delivery against assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning

Designing/developing/delivery of web, software, mobile apps, prototypes, or proofs of concepts (POC’s)

Applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems

Roughly 80-95% hands-on coding

Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-

release patches

Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, QA/QE,

various product lines, or business units to drive forward results

Contribute to the design and architecture of the project

Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming

methodologies
